Ride in a Tube or Sled

Put your child in a snow tube or sled and take them for a ride through the Snow Play area! This activity is especially great for the younger ones who love being pushed or pulled around.

Build a Snow Man

Grab a plow, bucket and our Snow Man props and help your child build a mini Snow Man. Don’t forget to take a photo and throw it up on Instagram with our hashtag #SNOWPLAYADL

Make Snow Angels

Now your child doesn’t have to be sleeping to be a little angel! Lay them down in a pile of snow, help them wave their arms and legs on the snow surface and presto - A Little Snow Angel!

Frequently Asked Questions

Here’s our list of the most frequently asked Snow Play questions! Can’t find an answer below? Feel free to
ask us now!
Do additional adults require a ticket?
Any additional adults whom are coming to spectate do not require a ticket. However, we do generally only allow one adult supervisor on the ice per child at any one time.
Is the ice surface slippery?
The Snow Play ice surface is relatively rough and although slightly slippery in some areas, can be walked on safely. Enclosed shoes are recommended for safety and to stop your little one getting cold feet!
What clothing should my child wear?
Due to the low temperature of the Snow Play area, we always recommend the warmest winter clothing possible. Many parents choose to put their children in warm winter clothes with a onesie or puffer jacket over the top. We also recommend gloves and a beanie.
I am pregnant, can I go on the ice with my child?
Unfortunately we don’t recommend going on the ice if you are pregnant. However, you are more than welcome to bring another adult along to supervise for you if you want.
Do you provide gloves and beanies?
No, we don't provide gloves or beanies however they are recommended. We have a limited range of children's gloves available for purchase at reception.
Is my 1 year old too young for Snow Play?
Generally it's okay if they are able to walk although some children don't mind being pulled or pushed around in a tube or sled for most of the time. We’ve had a number of 12 to 18 month olds who have had a great time!
Are tickets available for purchase on the door?
Due to a limited capacity for each session, we are unable to sell tickets on the door. Sign up to our waiting list for email notifications when new sessions are added.
Do you take group bookings?
Standard group bookings must be made and paid for in advanced. Any bookings over 10 people will receive a discount of $1.00 per ticket, however the full booking amount must be paid in one transaction.

What other parents had to say about Snow Play!

Denise W
We went last year and have tickets in hand for this year. Perfect for all ages up to 5 as there are toboggans and tyre tubes you can pull the kiddies around on. There are also sleds you can push, no skating and it's on the practice rink so no big kids.....except the adults.

Our first Snow Play session was a blast, I literally had to drag my son out when the time was up! I love the fact that these sessions are strictly for kids 5 and under, so it is a nice safe environment for the little ones.

My son and I came this morning and had such a great time. Congratulations on providing a suitable activity for the under 5's!
